National Power’s Storm Team Activates to Support Critical Power and Infrastructure as Hurricane Idalia Approaches

Raleigh, N.C., August 28, 2023– National Power, a power infrastructure company headquartered in Raleigh, NC announced today that it has activated its Storm Team to support power and infrastructure restoration as Hurricane Idalia approaches. National Power will initially deploy resources to the State of Florida, and will follow the storm’s path, which is anticipated to include Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

National Power’s Storm Team includes a full complement of resources, including generator technicians, fuel, parts, and mobile generators. The mobilization of this team will support mission critical customers, including hospitals and healthcare facilities, emergency services, internet providers, wireless communication towers, wastewater facilities, and other critical industries. As the team continues to track and follow the latest development of Idalia, National Power is ready to support the restoration of vital communications and power to residents and businesses in impacted areas to repair and mitigate the impact of power outages swiftly and safely.
